„FOR THEIR EGOS is a dynamic trio from Berlin, Germany. Fusing punk and avantgarde free jazz as well as embracing the simple and beautiful sounds of traditional folk music the band has found a voice of their very own, hardly fitting into any one genre.
Loud and violent and soft and vulnerable at times they bring the listener closer to a healthy insanity. Their minimalistic compositions allow
them to playfully explore the endless possibilities of decision-making in realtime.
Demanding open-minded ears the trio executes their music with a profound sense of the present.

Keisuke plays the guitar. And he creates sounds & noise through self-made analog audio signal processing. He also writes instrumental songs about the small things in life. And does other things that inspire him. What inspires you?

It is Friday around 4:50 pm as I board the U8 towards Herrmannstraße the packed train seems strangely lonely because most of the people are not in fact there hiding behind their phones’ screens.
A homeless person struggles through the crowd and asks people bluntly to offer him their seat they jump up without contradict and move away from the awkwardly twisting and turning person his movements get faster and more uncontrolled until he pulls out a shiny package
and fiddles with it ungainly to access what’s inside the passengers around me grow more uneasy and hurry to squeeze away from him
as he seems to be satisfied with his fiddling he uses his red lighter to heat the little package before reaching with his black hands inside his coat’s pocket to grab a small injection his twisting and twitching gets more pressing and he has to summon all his focus before he finally finds the package with his left hand I leave the train with a couple of other people all clumsily trying to get out I hear someone shout „what the fuck is wrong with you, faggot!?“ .and only as I turn around, I realize that it was directed at me.
